Children’s Theater Camp

Is your child looking for a great summer adventure? Then Rogue Theater’s Summer Youth Theater Camp just might be the adventure they are looking for.
This is Rogue Theater’s ninth season of offering youth theater camp. Many of our young actors have come back year after year. In fact, some have been with us since the first year and have become actively involved as assistant coaches. Several have gone on to perform in our adult productions.
Rogue’s dedicated performing artists work with young people to not only develop their theatre arts skills, but also to increase their creativity – a key factor in lifelong success. Students will explore creativity and build dramatic art skills. Theatre games and exercises will stretch their voice, body and mind. Open scenes and improvisation will help them to embody a character, identify obstacles and work to achieve an objective through a variety of tactics.
The Youth Theater Camp is for students ages 9-15.

It will run from June 20- July 13, 2023.
Classes will meet on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10:00AM-2:00PM

The students will present a public performance on Thursday, July 13 in the evening. This performance will be an opportunity for student to share their work with family, friends and the Rogue Theater community.
