Dinner Theater: Sam Club, Private Eye, in the Case of the Malted Falcon

Get ready for an evening of fatal fun as Rogue Theater unveils their newest murder mystery dinner show that spoofs TV chefs, old-time detectives, art lovers, and chocoholics! Sam Club, Private Eye, in the Case of the Malted Falcon, written by Tony Schwartz and Marylou Ambrose, is mixed with greed and addiction, but can you believe all that you see?

Directed by Stuart Champeau, Sam Club, Private Eye, in the Case of the Malted Falcon, takes place in the Gallery of Amazingly Great Art (also known as GAGA), in New York City. Sam Club was hired to guard the priceless chocolate sculpture, The Malted Falcon, during the train ride from Juddville to New York. But on the way, someone hit him over the head and stole the sculpture. Now Sam must find the thief and save the sculpture and his reputation as a private eye. Was the thief of The Malted Falcon Sam’s secretary and chochoholic Velma Vavoomsky? TV chef Rachael Raven? Bird activist Abigail Nightengale? Or one of the other wacky characters? At the end of the play, someone will be ruthlessly murdered and it’s up to the audience to solve the crime!

Rogue Theater began in 2013 by doing murder mystery dinner theater at venues throughout Door County. They became fabulously successful and the tradition has continued every spring. Some of the finest dining establishments in the area will be hosting The Case of the Malted Falcon.
